We do the best we can to make pets feel safe and comfortable, and we don’t just pay lip service to it. Which is why we work on one client before we move to the next, rather than grooming in mass quantities. Requirements for groomers:

• Safety and quality. E.g. Not rushing the grooming, tools handled properly, pets leashed on the table and all aspects of their safety taken into consideration.
• Taking customers’ instructions, taking calls if other co-workers are busy.
• Willingness to take feedback.
• To reduce miscommunication, a decent command of the English language is preferred.
• 3 month probation.
• Should be able to do 4-7 full grooming a day.

$2200 and above for groomers with 1-year experience. Groomers with more experience, wages will correspond with experience and skill.

Grooming your pets is not only about aesthetics or keeping them clean. A lot of people fail to recognize the psychological benefits it brings to the relationship. Without gaining some form of proficiency, grooming will scary both to you and your pets.
